Dr Deepinder Miller is a female adult general psychiatrist consulting from Eastern Suburbs Psychiatry in Darlinghurst, Sydney. She has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adult ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, alcohol and substance use disorders, and the mental health of young adults.

Dr Miller provides evidence-based treatment including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and supportive psychiatric care. She also provides couples counselling where appropriate. Her approach is respectful, collaborative, and non-judgemental.

Appointments are available in person and through Telehealth where appropriate.

Dr Miller also has significant experience in medicolegal psychiatry, providing independent psychiatric assessments and reports for major law firms nationally. Her areas of medicolegal work include:

• Medical negligence
• Historical abuse
• Personal injury (excluding WorkCover and motor vehicle accidents)
• Workplace bullying
• Fitness for duty assessments.

Qualifications and Experience

Dr Miller completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia and undertook specialist psychiatry training across major Sydney hospitals including St Vincent’s and Prince of Wales Hospital.

She has also completed further training in drug and alcohol treatment at the Betty Ford Center and holds Opioid Treatment Accreditation from the University of Sydney.
