For Rural General Practitioners

Dr Deepinder Miller is offers psychiatric services that include providing short-term or long-term psychotherapy and diagnostic clarification.

Dr Miller treats adults and adolescents (from 16 years and above) and her areas of interest are Mood Disorders, Psychosis, Drug and Alcohol treatment, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Whilst she writes medicolegal reports, these can only be written for patients who are referred by a third party solicitor and not by a medical practitioner. Reports are not provided if the patient is their own legal representative. Please also note Dr Miller does not provide legal reports to patients to challenge Australian Government benefits, payments, pensions, housing or any other support services.

Dr Miller's consulting hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am to 8:00pm and the service is provided via videoconferencing. Medical practices and/ or patients will require a regular PC or tablet with a standard broadband connection.
Secretarial staff are available from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday

The fee for the initial consult is an amount advocated by the AMA. This fee is then eligible for a Medicare rebate. Please note these rebates are higher than the usual Medicare rebate and are provided in order to facilitate the provision of this service to patients living in regional areas.

Every attempt is made to ensure that no patient waits more than 10 business days for an appointment. If you require a patient to be seen urgently please contact the surgery directly.
